Grid-Forming Virtual Synchronous Machine Control with DC-Coupled Battery Storage for Frequency Stability in a Multi-Terminal VSC-HVDC Renewable Power System
This paper studies how grid-forming virtual synchronous machine control, supported by DC-coupled battery storage, can improve frequency stability in a renewable multi-terminal VSC-HVDC system. It connects converter behaviour, storage response and disturbance scenarios while keeping the control assumptions explicit.
